Being a southern Californian who hates the sun, I'm totally loving the weather right now. But yeah, I can see why it wouldn't meet your expectations.
Also, mysterious stains are all kinds of awesome. Never a better excuse to pull out a black light.
@ken - Using a black light in a hotel room is a game I like to call "You lose", because no matter what you find, it's not going to be good.
Best to remain ignorant and try not to think about all the gross stuff that happened on the bed you're going to be sleeping on...

Don't pull out the blacklight, sometimes it is better to not know.
Enjoy the west coast, I find it is always fun to visit except 14 hour flight to get there.
I agree with Jay- Kojima will make up for all of the spots where glitz and glamour are missing.
Los Angeles' weather asymptotically achieved Goldilocks Factor for most of the past couple weeks, which must explain why the sky is so balls recently.

Used to live in LA. Do kind of miss the drizzles, have to be honest.
Never been to E3 (oh how I wish), but this is certainly bringing back some of the horrors of CES.
