This is a pretty elaborate one, I must say, with brow raised.
Less elaborately, but much more deliciously, Kotaku appears to have finally succumbed to the onslaught of cakes. I'm allergic to chocolate, actually, so cake frosting happens to be my food-related guilty pleasure. Especially when it is in such lovely pastel colors. I may have to get myself hired there just to eat some of that pink and green cake.
Game cakes: teaching millenial geeks the meaning of the word "fondant." Awesome.
And, this sure looks cutting-edge, Blizzard!

Some of the things in the Zelda trailer looked surprisingly good! Especially considering what this really is, not too shabby on the production quality side. Horrible choice for Link though, but what can you do, still pretty entertaining. I am in no rush for them to make (bastardize) a real Zelda movie. I'm good with the old cartoons, thanks.
Excuuuuse me, Princess!
It's the first time I've done an April Fools myself in years! I've linked it via my tag but it's on Destructoid so it's a pretty simple gag.
I thought the Link was cute :(
Cute or not, he didn't really look like Link to me...especially a younger link that should have been at the start of the trailer.
But chances are Hollywood would pick someone much, much worse, so I am not complaining!
So is the Xbox 360 Recon Edition really as self deprecating as it seems?
But yes everyone would want the helmet. Its like AirWolf!

I'm fond of the one the Tanooki did, if only because it's so plausible.
Favorite fool of the day is Jade Raymond conspiring with Hideo Kojima

SpOiLeRz:
New Kotaku Weekend Editor = Leigh Alexander.
I think the Tauren Marine units that popped up in StarCraft II had the best production values.
And so _powerful_...
Why would I ever be a weekend editor? Don't you think I work enough during the week?
Did you see the Assassin's Creed Metal Gear?
True. But I suspect you make a mean carob cake, so all Kotaku speculations are in hopes of delicious deserts.
Come on, Leigh's big announcement is that she was chosen as the Yankee ball girl.
Robert, you made me do this and I cannot resist - I'd be the first in line to hold Yankees'... Uh, actually, why don't I stop now?
Yes *I* just so forced your hand there (so to speak)
